LYNCCS, Inc. utilizes a holistic approach to offering an extensive array of workshops, programming, and services. We work to develop the whole student. Licensed Professional Counselors, and consultants/coaches work closely with school counselors, administrators, youth group leaders, individual students and parents to design a battery of assessments, workshops and experiential learning opportunities that evaluate and address key areas of student development in regards to college and career transition processes. 

Studies indicate that regardless of academic preparedness, students who lack mental/emotional and social preparation may have difficulty transitioning into college. Our workshops are designed to help students prepare mentally/emotionally and socially by:

•      Addressing and teaching knowledge of self
•      Developing awareness of the major differences between high school and college
•      Identifying common pitfalls and arming them with ways to deal with complex situations that could hinder their success, through the development of self-management skills.

Additionally, LYNCCS, Inc. provides assessments to help identify students' personal interests, abilities, and skill sets; then we match those with best-fit career options. The goal is to develop confident students focused on a well-considered career path to reduce the level of overwhelm and indecisiveness when making college major/program selections and/or other career/life decisions.
